I adore this quick and easy breakfast option. It's simple to make and delicious, using only coffee, frozen banana, almond butter, and dates.   

The banana and almond butter give it a wonderful creamy texture, while the dates provide richness and sweetness. Coffee enhances the flavor and provides a caffeine boost.  

Brewed coffee - I prefer to make this recipe with cold brew concentrate because I always have some on hand. Cold brew, whether store-bought or homemade, works wonderfully.  

If you prefer, you can use other types of brewed coffee. Just make sure the smoothie is chilled or at room temperature—not hot!—when you make it.  

Frozen bananas make the smoothie thick and creamy. Almond milk - To get the blender going. Another plant-based milk, such as oat milk, might be ideal here!  

Almond butter improves the creamy texture and contains protein and healthy fats. Medjool dates add a rich, caramel-like sweetness to the smoothie while also providing nutrients such as fiber and potassium.
